KwaZulu-Natal police shot dead two suspects wanted for 21 hijackings in the Durban yesterday.
Police spokesperson Vincent Mdunge says, “The men were wanted for 21 cases of hijackings in several residential areas.”
“Police tried to get them the suspects yesterday when they hijacked another car in the Kwadengezi area.
“A chase ensued and the person in the passenger seat opened the door and started shooting at the police,” he said.
The police fired back and the two men were killed.
