The National Freedom Party a new breakaway party from IFP launched

The Inkatha Freedom Party’s has split and a breakaway party has been launched.

Former national chairperson of the IFP Zanele Magwaza-Msibi unveiled a new political party the National Freedom Party at the Durban City Hall today.

She has been elected to lead the new party and the party has also been registered with the Independent Electoral Commission.

The National Freedom Party (NFP) will be contesting the upcoming local government elections.

The Inkatha Freedom Party’s President Mangosuthu Buthelezi said he feels sad, betrayed and disappointed over Zanele Magwaza-Msibi move.

He also stated that the split in the IFP is driven by personal ambitions.

You must be glad she left you and your party ,it seems as if your advisors didn't know their juty or they also want to take your position (president).Zanele Magwaza Msibi was a treat to them ,That's why they wanted her out .chief Buthezi also didn't see that it will end up like this.
