Authorities in Cape Town say they will take legal action after the illegal dumping of expired food in a township near Strand over the weekend.
A business in the area has been accused of dumping food products in Lwandle.
More than 150 people reportedly became sick after consuming the dumped food.
City spokesperson Wilfred Solomons-Johannes says samples of the food have been taken for testing.
