A pregnant rhino was poached on a game farm in the Hoedspruit, Limpopo.
Police spokesperson Ronel Otto says the rhino’s carcass was discovered by the farm’s manager during his rounds on Saturday.
It is believed that the animal was killed a few days earlier.
There is currently a search underway to find the culprits.
The number of rhino deaths for the year now stand on four.
