Eskom says they have enough capacity for the rest of the summer.
The first of a series of public announcements on the state of its electricity generation and distribution systems was held today.
With the aim of keeping the public informed about what’s happening at Eskom.
Chief executive, Brian Dames Dames says there will be some strain next week once everyone has returned from their annual holidays.
