Two people have died and 14 are injured in a collision involving a taxi and two cars in Bellville this morning.
Metro EMS Provincial Spokesperson Keri David says, “The accident happened on Marie and Botha road.”
Both drivers in the motor vehicles escaped injuries. All the passengers in the taxi were injured.
She said, “A male and a female were declared dead on arrival while four others sustained serious injuries.”
They were transported to Tygerberg hospital and Bellville Community Health Centre.
The cause of the accident is not yet known at this stage.
