A collision between a taxi and an earthmoving construction vehicle machine near the Lynwood turn-off in Pretoria has claimed the lives of five people.
Three men and a woman died on the scene and a fifth victim, a man, passed away in hospital.
Netcare911 spokesperson Jeff Wicks says 15 people were injured in the accident.
Two of the critically injured had to be airlifted to hospital.
It appears the taxi rolled several times after hitting the machine.
