A court yesterday heard a detailed account of the Anni Dewani murder.
Mziwamadoda Qwabe on of the men accused of the murder told the court that that he was driving the car and that he was the one who stole Anni’s cellphone.
Qwabe also admitted that he complained about not being paid in full for the murder.
NPA spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila said the state was confident that Qwabe will not be granted bail.
Police believe that Qwabe is also linked to a murder that happened in 2009, so police have reopned the case.
Xolile Mngeni one of the accused is expected to appear in court together with Mziwamadoda Qwabe on the 25th of February.
