A taxi driver was arrested yesterday for loading forty-five school children into his fourteen seater taxi.
The driver was driving the school children from the Boshoek Primary School to Phokeng in the North West when he was arrested.
The driver was fined earlier in the day for driving without a licence.
North West Public Safety MEC Magome Masike said the overloading of scholars into taxi's results in a great loss of lives in road accidents.
