Two Cape Town toddlers die

An investigation has been opened following the death of two toddlers in Cape Town.

The two siblings aged two and three years old wer3e hit by train in Manenberg.

The children are believed to have been playing on the railway line when the incident occurred.

Local residents have urged authorities to barrier the area with fencing.

Metrorail’s provincial spokesperson, Riana Scott, says a police investigation into the incident is underway.
