Lusanda Bill
13 March 2011
The African National Congress will go ahead and register the party’s national list for the coming elections dispite pending lawsuits.
ANC general secretary Gwede Mantashe speaking in Pretoria he said the ANC only had one current lawsuit in which members in the Alfred Nzo region launched a suit against the ANC in the past week, in a dispute over a candidate list.
The ANC has opposed the application.
The party will provide its reasoning for opposing the application on Thursday and why the interdict should not be made a final order.
