Lusanda Bill
6 April 2011
Stakeholders have called for the formation of an independent body.
The body is to probe the credibility of the South African National Roads Agency Limited's proposed toll road tariffs and supervise the implementation of alternative methods of revenue collection in Gauteng.
Economist Mike Schussler says South Africans cannot just watch as Sanral becomes both player and referee.
AfriForum says poor people in Gauteng will take the biggest hit if plans to implement an electronic toll road system in the province go ahead.
