The African Christian Democratic Party has called on government to seriously consider compulsory HIV testing for all residents and visitors to South Africa.
ACDP spokesperson for health, Cheryllyn Dudley, says desperate measures need to be taken to deal with the crisis.
Dudley contends that if the burden is on everyone to get tested.
She added that if everyone gets tested no one will feel discriminated against and the stigma associated with HIV tests will fall away.
