Cape Town police have been forced to step in after a fight over land in Khayelitsha.
This follows a fire that ripped through part of the township on Saturday and left about 250 people displaced.
Those displaced tried to invade another part of the land and this sparked fights between them and other residents.
Cape Town Disaster Management spokesperson Wilfred Solomons-Johannes said, the police services were on scene and attended to the situation to avoid public violence.
