South Africa’s star paraplegic runner Oscar Pistorius suddenly ended a BBC interview yesterday because he felt insulted by the interviewer.
Pistorius was asked whether he could be seen as an inconvenient embarrassment to officials for competing in able-bodied competitions.
Pistorius, also known as the Blade Runner, told the interviewer he felt insulted by the question and that the interview was over.
The athlete was told that the question was not meant as an insult, but he reiterated that it was indeed an insult and called the interview off.
