Lusanda Bill

The Democratic Alliance says the three ministers who are appealing the approval of the Massmart-Walmart merger are now getting out of line.
The DA’s Tim Harris says the Competition Commission has approved Wal-mart’s entry into South Africa with specific pre-conditions to protect jobs and South African business.
Agriculture Minister Tina Joemat-Pettersson, Economic Development Minister Ebrahim Patel and Trade and Industry’s Rob Davies has asked for stricter conditions on the deal.
Harris says the ministers are clearly driving an ideological agenda against Wal-mart.
