Another suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of Pretoria mother Chanélle Henning.
Five men are now behind bars, and police expect to make more arrests.
Two of the suspects, Ambrose Monye and Preshan Singh, appeared briefly in the Pretoria Central Magistrate’s Court today.
Reports say Monye, a former Nigerian Olympic athlete, was acquitted on a separate murder charge last week.
Suspended constable Gerhardus du Plessis, who confessed to pulling the trigger, will be in court again next week.
Speculation is that drug lords had forced him to kill Henning, but his connection to her remains a mystery.
