Right2Know criticize ANC’s decision to bring the Secrecy Bill back to the National Assembly

The Right2Know Campaign has criticised the ANC’s decision to bring the Secrecy Bill back to the National Assembly without any consultation from the public.

Right2Know national convener, Murray Hunter says this latest move by the ANC appears to be nothing less than a ploy to make sure there is no public opposition to the Bill from within the provinces.

Hunters claims the ANC’s Chief Whip’s office committed itself to conducting public consultations after the draft legislation was shelved last year, but failed to deliver on its promises.
