Trade between SA and the UAE increased by 80%

Trade between South Africa and the United Arab Emirates increased by 80% between 2006and 2010.

Addressing the South Africa – United Arab Emirates Business Forum in Dubai, Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies said the two countries would do well to strengthen their economic and trade relations in the current unstable economic climate.

Davies added that South Africa was the largest investor within the African continent and its companies had established the expertise and relationships to succeed in the promising African market.
