An adult male from Bonteheuwel has slipped down the staircase at Harmony Park Resort today.
The patient was handled by paramedics from the METRO Emergency Medical Services.
The male sustained spinal injuries and was treated by volunteers.
The adult male was then transported to Helderberg Hospital (Hottentots-Holland Hospital) for further medical treatment and observation.
It is alleged that the male was under the influence when he accidentally slipped and sustained injuries.
