Beach-goers urged to be extra careful in the water

The National Sea Rescue Institute has urged beach-goers to be extra careful when taking to the water, during the festive season.
The NSRI had to deal with a number of emergency situations across the country, including drowning and boating accidents.
The NSRI's Craig Lambinon says accidents are preventable if people follow all safety precautions.
Lambinon added that parents need to be extra vigilant if their children go into the water.
