A shack fire occurred in Phillipi this morning and Sweet homes informal settlement .
The city`s Disaster Risk Management said about 16 people were displaced and one person died .
This comes just a day before Christmas .The cause of the fire is still not known .
The Disaster Risk Management has once again urged the public to be more careful with the fires more especial during christmas time.
