The Traffic Road Management corporation has recorded that a total of 1023 people have lost their lives on the roads so far.
The number of crashes is 853 all together. The RTMC expects this number of fatalities to increase as the holiday makers are heading back to their respective destinations.
The authorities believe that these accidents are mainly caused by tiredness ,overloading as well as speeding.
The officials urge all motorists to be alert on the road at all.
