A badly decomposed body has been found in a drain in George, Western Cape. It is suspected to be a female that went missing earlier in December.
The body is decomposed beyond recognition which makes it hard to identify, however clothes have been found near the body which could assist the police in identification.
Tests have been taken and sent away to forensics. The motive of the murder at this point remains unknown.
The police are appealing to the public to assist and come forward with any information regarding the unpleasant incident.
