Criminals are targeting festive season shoppers representing themselves as shop salesmens.
They approach shoppers claiming to be salesmen offering them discounts or prizes.
These criminals can even be found inside shops pretending to work from there.Police Spokesperson Warrant Officer Ann Poortman says they are intervening.
Poortman also warned members of the public to avoid making withdrawals of large sums of money and walking around with it.
