Disgraced former police commissioner Jackie Selebi is reportedly undergoing an operation at the Steve Biko Academic hospital in Pretoria.
Yesterday the department of correctional services said that Selebi is on dialysis for a long standing diabetes condition.
Selebi was transferred from prison to the Steve Biko hospital on Monday.
The state of Selebi’s health is still unknown and details about the operation have not been released yet.
