Former president Nelson Mandela is in good health, the Presidency confirmed on Friday.
This was after rumours that he was readmitted to hospital.
It is said that Madiba is enjoying the festive season at his Qunu home in the Eastern Cape.
President Jacob Zuma's office wished Mandela a happy and successful 2012 on behalf of government and the people of South Africa.
