Three people died and three others were critically injured when a taxi overturned in Bloubergstrand.
ER24 spokesperson Vanessa Jackson says the three victims were declared dead on the scene.
Two of the other injured were airlifted to Grooter Schuur and Tygerberg Hospital.
Another five passengers were also injured but sustained minor to serious injuries.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
