A police officer has shot his girlfriend dead before committing suicide near White River in Mpumalanga.
Sergeant Andries Motau, who is aged 36 shot Nelisiwe Mbuyane several times outside her home in Kabokweni on Thursday afternoon.
He then committed suicide by turning the gun on himself,both died on the scene.
The 30-year-old Mbuyane was a nurse at the Bhuga clinic near White River.
