A South African woman has been arrested in Thailand after police found one-point-five kilograms of cocaine hidden in her dreadlocks.
Police say they spotted a white substance in Nobanda Nolubabalo’s hair soon after she stepped of her Qatar Airways flight at a Bangkok airport.
The cocaine has an estimated street value of one-point-two-million-Rands.
The 23-year-old apparently admitted to smuggling in the drugs, and said she had been hired to drop it off at a hotel in Thailand’s capital city.
