Cape Town Traffic officials warn unlicensed drivers

Cape Town traffic officials on Wednesday said that unlicensed drivers have no place on the roads.
 
The officials said that the increase in number of motorists who believe they can get away with driving without a valid driver’s license has ignited their concern.

A minibus taxi driver was arrested in Milnerton earlier this week.

The driver was found to be drunk while behind the wheel of his taxi and was only in possession of a learner’s permit.

's Merle Lourens warned that offenders days were numbered.

Lourens also said that this is a common occurrence.
