Former President Nelson Mandela hospitalised

The presidency reported that former president Nelson Mandela has been admitted to hospital.The former president was admitted to hospital today.


Madiba has had an abdominal complaint and doctors feel it needs proper specialist medical attention.


It is not known which hospital he has been admitted to.Mac Maharaj the Presidency spokesperson did not want reveal further information.


He further said that they want to handle the matter with due regard to privacy and they will update the public as soon as they have new information.


The Presidency wishes Mandela a speedy recovery
