MEC Dan Plato holds a workshop

Western Cape Community Safety MEC Dan Plato today said employment opportunities were key to empowering the youth and keeping them away from crime.

Plato was addressing youth from the gang infested community of
Hanover Park
.

A number of youngsters, who matriculated in the last two years, listened attentively to as speakers talked about a list of possible employment opportunities.

Youth, who have been battling to find jobs, brought their CV`s along to submit to companies and exhibitors at the workshop.
