Zoliswa Nkonyana remembered

Gender activists have gathered at the Solomon Mahlangu Community Hall in Khayelitsha to remember murdered lesbian Zoliswa Nkonyana.
Today marks the sixth anniversary since Nkonyana was stoned to death because of her sexual orientation.
She was assaulted and stabbed nine times.
Nine men were arrested for her murder and four of them were found guilty.
The four men were sentenced to 18 years each in prison earlier this week by the
Khayelitsha Regional Court .
