Awareness campaign lunched in Pretoria

The Health Professions Council of South Africa launched a campaign in Pretoria today.
The campaign aim to inform patients and practitioners of their rights and responsibilities.

The initiative is called "Health and Human Rights Awareness".

The council said 2,403 grievances were lodged from April 2011 to date with an increase in complaints relating to accounts and improper relations.

The council's registrar Kgosi Letlape said that they are really concerned about the fact that professionalism seems to be waning.
