The Western Cape MEC for Transport Mr Robin Carlisle has urged Metrorail to stop the stone throwers.

This week alone about three incidents of train commuters that hit on the trains were reported.

Carlisle said that he is extremely shocked to hear that number of incidents is increasing.

Carlisle further said that it is unacceptable that security personnel are lounging in the control room while needed on trains.
