New programme for the Western Cape taxi drivers

Cape Town Traffic Organization today said that it is building relations with taxi organizations in the province to decrease fatalities on the roads.

Cape Town Safely Home officials said they were working with taxi organizations over the next year to improve their behaviour on the Western Cape roads.

Programme Manager Kevin October said these type or programmes were important to decrease road fatalities caused by mini bus taxis.

October added that they understand the community’s frustration about taxi drivers .
