Next month motorists would have to budget carefully as the petrol price is set to increase by 64 cents per litre.
The increase will have a knock-on effect which will se the prices of food and transport go up.
Chief economist at PSG Konsult Dawie Klopper said consumer’s needs to start spending cautiously.
He added we have to rethink our spending patterns and start cutting out unnecessary expenditures from our budgets.
