The Government has reportedly put on hold plans for tolled highways in the Western Cape.

Deputy Transport Minister Jeremy Cronin said that government will not prioritize the Winelands Toll Road Project.

The provincial government of the Western Cape and City of Cape Town strongly opposed the planned tolling.
