Cape Town sex workers are marching through the streets of Bellville.

The march is organized by rights group Sex Workers Education and Advocacy Taskforce.

The crowd of mostly women is calling for the decriminalization of sex work.

They are armed with placards and whistles.

The group of sex workers said that they are harassed by police officers almost daily.

They say the criminalization of sex work has forced them to live in fear.

Many sex workers on the march are wearing masks to hide their identities.
