Early this morning two Metrorail train couches were destroyed in a fire near Philippi Station.
Police and security guards are at the scene combing the area for clues while police vehicles search for the arsonists.
Metrorail’s Eddie Chinappin said a bus service was deployed to alleviate the inconvenience of commuters.
It is the fourth incident of its kind since last month.
Police believe it is the same perpetrators carrying out the acts.
