Minister debates the development of African languages

Minister of Higher Education ,Mr Blade Nzimande since last year has been calling for the development of African languages as languages of scholarship at South African universities.

On Tuesday in Parliament the Minister said that there is still little progress that has been made so far.

The Freedom Front Plus Leader Dr Pieter Mulder says that government need to increase funding to universities if they want higher education in more than one language.

Mulder also says it is possible to develop an African language to the level of other languages.
