As part of Take a Girl Child to Work Day
Campaign Pretoria police today showed girl students what working in the police
is all about.
The girls came from various high schools in
the Pretoria
Police Spokesperson Colonel Tummi Shai says
the programme is meant to empower girls with career information that is based
on real work experiences.
Shai added that the tour was to give the
girls a taste of possible career paths within the police force.
