The Mamelani Projects runs a youth development programme called Project Lungisela in the Western Cape.
The Projects Co-ordinator Carly Tanur said the programme works with young people who grew up in children homes, to help prepare them when they leave the children’s home at 18.
Tanur their programmes are on building a positive attitude.
She also says these programmes help to ensure that young people are well prepared for life.
