The DA will this morning lead a march in Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape in solidarity with learners affected by teacher shortages.
The DA’s Annette Lovemore and Edmund van Vuuren will lead the protest to a High Court sitting in the town.
Non-governmental organisation Section 27 is taking the Department of Basic Education to court over its failure to fill teacher vacancies in the province.
Van Vuuren says they are expecting good support.
