Davies said SA gov to prioritise manufacturing sector

The Minister of Trade and Industry Rob Davies has indicated that the South African government has decided to prioritise the manufacturing sector.

Government has recognised the crucial role in achieving sustainable economic growth.

Department Spokesperson Sidwell Medupe said Davies indicated that the national government has identified a number of drivers to create jobs.

He added that the minister also said the DTI is a custodian of manufacturing.
