Disaster Management -No emergency at Chevron refinery

The City of Cape Town Environmental Department including together with the  health air pollution division is investigating the incident at the Chevron refinery in Milnerton where a large black cloud of smoke was emitting.

The City’s Disaster Management team said everything is under control.

According to Disaster management's Wilfred Solomons-Johannes onsite teams responded to the incident swiftly.

He added that the site owner is required to submit a detailed report regarding the incident to the relevant authorities.
