The Democratic Alliance has stated that the Minister of Economic Development Ebrahim Patel will not reach his target of creating 5 million jobs by 2020.

DA’s Haniff Hoosen said with unemployment at 36.6 percent the country is in desperate need of effective, practical and sustainable growth policy based on international best practise.

He adds that the new growth path by the economic department is making little contribution to South Africa’s economic growth.

Saying that it’s wasting tax payers money and wasting time and energy on something that has little effect.
