The Gauteng provincial government has decided to review the guidelines on the use of official credit cards.

This follows the recent spending of government funds by former Housing and Local Government Minister Humphrey Mmemezi.

Gauteng provincial government Spokesperson Xoli Mngambi said that the matter was raised by the Integrity Commissioner that the current guide line for use of credit cards has not been definitive.

Mngambi added that the Gauteng Provincial Government has decided to implement the recommendations of the Integrity Commissioner.
