Man hit by a train

On Tuesday a horrific train accident occurred between Du Toit and Koelenhof train stations.

A young male model was killed trying to save a dog.

Metrorail’s regional manager in the Western Cape Mthuthuzeli Swartz said a couple was walking along the railway line with a dog which ran across the railway line.

He added that man was hit by the train after trying to rescue the dog.
